These are hand numbered and signed, limited edition contemporary fine art prints, made from an original watercolor painting by Joan Moran Gavey, entitled "Country Shed". Joan Moran Gavey is an internationally recognized American born professional watercolor artist. She obtained her Art degree at the University of Buffalo in 1962 and has exhibited her original works in galleries and juried exhibits throughout the world. Her works are featured in numerous international art collections. Here is a brief Artist Statement from her relating to the limited edition prints that she is allowing us to sell:

"I create art from an inner feeling that allows me to relax and create a picture of enjoyment and tranquility. I plan each painting looking for forms, shapes, values of hues, contrasts of light and dark, and especially texture. When I paint rocks, I try to imagine how they feel. When I visualize trees, I think about how the wind and sun hit them, changing their shapes and colors. Nature has so many wonderful facets to appreciate and paint. For an artist, nature's supply is endless."

This print is highly collectible, issued in a limited edition of 100 prints. Both the original painting image size, and the print image size, are approximately 11 inches wide and 14 inches tall. This print was made on high quality, acid free (resists yellowing and aging) 13" x 19" watercolor paper, with a textured matte surface, that is approximately 1/32" (11.5 mil) thick. Archival inks were used to insure permanent colors that will not fade for at least 75 years. The artist supervised the printing process closely and hand numbered and signed each print on the white area of the paper, directly below the image. For best results, treat it as you would any original work of fine art. Keep it out of the direct sun light, avoid moisture, and frame it behind glass.
